Colwall Care Home

OVERVIEW

Cottrills Carpentry delivered the complete carpentry package for a new 60-bed care home, covering everything from the roof structure to the final interior finishes. Our team installed the trussed and hand-cut roofing, certified all fire door installations to BM TRADA standards, and completed second-fix works including skirting, architraves and handrails throughout.

We also constructed several specialist areas such as the hair salon, entrance servery, drug stations and staff rooms, and installed Hardie Plank cladding to selected exterior sections. The project was completed to a high standard, meeting all safety, compliance and quality requirements.

Creswell Assisted Living

OVERVIEW

Cottrills Carpentry delivered the full carpentry package for a specialised 6-bed assisted living development in Creswell. The project required enhanced durability and safeguarding features tailored for children with additional needs.

Our team installed the trussed roof with three roof lanterns, ply-lined all ceilings and openings for strength, and built safe access walkways throughout the roof space. We also installed anti-ligature and anti-barricade fire doors under our BM TRADA accreditation, and completed second-fix works including skirting, architraves, kitchenettes, staff areas, and specialist fixtures such as Doc M rails and Vistamatic screens.

The project was completed to a high standard, meeting all safety, compliance, and durability requirements.
